My name is Robin Cornelius and this picture is me…focused with  my camera in hand at age 5. It is one of many pictures of me as a  “juvenile  photographer”, and in most I am even younger than this. As early as elementary school, I would have my friends dress up  and we’d  have photo shoots. My passion for photography continued in High School and I  would recruit my brother, girlfriends, and boyfriends to be my models. I always  believed that I would minor in photography, but that all changed when I took my  first photography class and it soon became my major. While attending college, co-workers became my models and I envisioned becoming a fashion photographer.  Life had other plans for me, so I took a steady job, a career in photography took a back seat, and most of my photographs were of my daughter, Rylee. When she was 13 years old, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a professional  photographer with Rylee's, support. I didn't want to be  just another “Photography  by So and So”. Rylee and I brainstormed to come up with a unique name and we finally decided on a combination of the beginning of my middle name, Leighanne, and the  end of her name, Rylee,  hence… Leigh-Lee. I started my business by shooting everything from newborns, engagements, weddings, families and more, but my true passion was discovered when I shot my first senior. I decided that I needed to stick with what I do best and what I am most passionate about so I solely shoot Seniors, Teens or Young Adults now. Specializing in one type of photography allows me to give my seniors that fashion photography style that I wanted to pursue in the past so their pictures do not look like everyone else's. I want each shoot to express who you are, not posed the same way at the same place as everyone else.....because lets face it you aren't like everyone else...right? Not every photographer suites everyone so I suggest you research many and find the one that's style best fits what you are looking for when you imagine your Senior pictures.
